Teresa Miles Walsh | CEO & Managing Director

Prior to founding AMA in 2003, Teresa was based in London as Vice Chairman and Managing Director, European Telecommunications, Media and Technology at Merrill Lynch. Before that, Teresa was Head of the European Media Investment Banking Group from 1997 until 2002; from 1989 until 1996 Teresa worked in various investment banking roles at Merrill Lynch New York, including Project & Lease Finance, Utilities and Media Groups. Teresa participated in transactions totaling in excess of $50 billion in deal value while at Merrill Lynch. Teresa received her MBA with distinction in 1987 from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and has her BA in Economics, Magna Cum Laude, also from Duke University. Teresa is a member of the Board of Visitors of the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.


Javier Ortiz | Executive Director

Javier is a corporate finance professional with over 15 years of business development and transaction execution experience. Prior to joining AMA, Javier worked with Phare Capital, a boutique advisory firm, and prior to that was an equity partner at Stuart Lammert & Co. and a Vice President with the investment banking division of Citigroup Global Markets and Salomon Brothers.  Javier combines client relationship management skills with strong strategic, financial, analytical, and negotiation skills and an extensive network of investor relationships. Javier acts as the lead execution professional for AMA investment banking assignments and received his MBA from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago and a BSc from Bucknell University.


DREW REGAN, CFA | ASSOCIATE

Drew joined AMA in 2014 and is responsible for financial analysis, modeling, presentation preparation and due diligence work at AMA.  Prior to his role at AMA, Drew spent two years at Secure Strategy Group LLC. (“SSG”), where he was responsible for modeling and valuation work, supporting the firm’s M&A and fund raising activities. While at SSG, Drew co-authored the SSG Small Cap Security Report, covering homeland security/defense companies. Drew also worked directly with clients in M&A and financing activities.  Drew is a registered representative of Pickwick Capital Partners and holds his Series 79, 7 & 63 Licenses.

John joined Access Media Advisory in 2016 after graduating from Boston University, where he received a BSc in finance from the Questrom School of Business. Prior to joining Access Media, John held undergraduate internships with Pine River Capital Management, Round Hill Capital, and Bank of America Merrill Lynch. John provides transaction support to senior bankers and clients, including conducting financial and industry analysis, drafting marketing materials, and preparing client presentations.


Susan Sharp | Administrative Officer and Research Associate

Susan Sharp has over 25 years of experience working in Investment Banking, and currently acts as Access Media Advisory’s London office manager working closely with the U.S. team. Susan is responsible for all administrative aspects including compliance, financial control, documentation review and general coordination of the transatlantic operations for Access Media Advisory.  Ms. Sharp has a BA, MA and M.Phil in History of Art from Birkbeck College, University of London.


DOUG GREENWOOD | PRESIDENT OF PICKWICK CAPITAL PARTNERS

Doug has twenty-five years of experience in corporate finance, corporate and executive services, wealth management, and business origination and development. He was previously President and Head of Investment Banking, Trautman Wasserman & Co., Inc. Prior to that, he spent thirteen years at Deutsche Banc Alex Brown LLC as Managing Director, Corporate Executive Services Group. He also held officer-level positions at Chemical Bank and Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. Doug is a board member of the Arizona Venture Technology Fund and the International Venture Fund I. He is also a board member of IFMS, Inc. and Resonant Software, Inc., as well as a trustee of the Wayne Brown Institute. He holds a BA from Princeton University.
